James Hutchinson
James has a unique perspective on the construction and customisation of new build yachts, having previously spent 15 years as a Senior Project Manager for Sunseeker International and Princess Yachts. During his time at these shipyards and since subsequently founding HYC in 2013, James has gained extensive experience of yacht construction, technical specification management and client liaison and has been closely involved in the successful delivery of many notable and high-profile new build yacht projects.
Guy Roberts
Upon joining HYC in 2016, Guy has added further strengths to the company’s project management offering. Having previously gained maritime qualifications and professional yachting experience, he joined HYC from a 5-year period at Princess Yachts working in a project management role on their award-winning M-Class range. Guy’s strong organisational skills and sharp attention to detail have been key in ensuring the success of recent deliveries and ongoing projects.
Additional Support
HYC work with a close network of trusted and experienced technical surveyors, captains, chief engineers, naval architects, coating consultants and others to provide specialists knowledge and expertise dependant upon the specific requirements of a project. HYC ensure the careful management of these additional inputs, to make certain that all parties are working effectively towards a common goal.
Feadship 34M Series
Between 2016 and 2017 Feadship launched a series of innovative 34-metre motor yachts. Their striking design featured a record amount of glass as a proportion of the exterior profile, plus an impressive array of features typically found on much larger yachts.
Innovative Design and Specification
Following the successful representation of the owner of M/Y Moon Sand (44M Feadship) and with considerable experience of vessels of this size, HYC was appointed by 4 of the 5 owners to act as Owner’s Representative and Project Management during the build of these class leading vessels from Feadship.

Industry Recognition

Culminating in the industry recognition of Motor Yacht Letani winning a 2018 World Superyacht Award.
